In a time when division seems ever-present, this interfaith service offers a sacred space to reflect on what unites us—our shared hope for a better world and the pursuit of lasting peace. Through music, prayer, and meaningful reflections, we will come together to celebrate the strength found in diversity and the common ground we all stand upon.
We invite all members of the community—regardless of background or belief—to join us in this evening of peace-filled reflection and renewal. Let’s kindle hope and find the peace that comes when we gather as one.
Event Details:
Date: November 14, 2024
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Wilmington 4313 Lake Ave, Wilmington, NC 28403
Come as you are, and invite a friend. Together, let’s create a moment of unity that inspires action and fosters hope.
As many of you know, our neighbors in Western North Carolina have experienced devastating floods, leaving families displaced, homes destroyed, and communities struggling to rebuild. In times like these, our collective compassion and shared commitment to justice can make a real difference.
We invite you to join us in supporting the recovery efforts through a special fundraiser. All donations collected will go directly to organizations on the ground providing essential relief—housing assistance, meals, medical supplies, and emotional care for those impacted. No contribution is too small; every act of kindness helps restore what has been lost.
Together, we embody the spirit of love that transcends boundaries. Your generosity today reflects not just financial assistance but also solidarity with those in need, affirming that none of us are alone in life’s most difficult moments.
Please consider giving either through the donation baskets (day of event) or by scanning the QR code.  Let us be the hands and feet of compassion, offering tangible hope to those who need it most.
We look forward to seeing you there!
