Gratitude Service November 20

In a world that moves fast and demands so much of us, taking time to pause and give thanks is more than refreshing — it’s soul-nourishing. That’s exactly what we’re inviting you to do this Thursday, November 20th at 6:30pm, as Wilmington Faith Leaders United gathers for our annual Gratitude Service at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Our theme this year —

“Embrace the Beauty of Life: Nourish Your Soul with Love, Light, and Gratitude”

— is an invitation to breathe deeply, reconnect with joy, and celebrate the goodness that still grows in our world.

But this night is more than words and music. It’s also a chance to practice gratitude in action.

This Year We Lift Up the Cape Fear Habitat Unity Build

As part of our worship, we’ll be highlighting and supporting Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity’s Unity Build — an interfaith project that brings people of different faiths, backgrounds, and traditions together to build affordable homes for families in our community.

The Unity Build calls us to:

  • Unite 250 volunteers

  • Raise $150,000

  • Build two homes

  • And take on the affordable housing crisis through a lens of faith, justice, and dignity

This is gratitude with sleeves rolled up. This is compassion that moves. This is what it looks like when many traditions say together, “Every family deserves a foundation of hope.”

We’d love for you, your congregation, your family, and your friends to be part of this night — and this effort.
